The Finer Points
FLAT FEE: $220/horse. Includes all AQHA/Small Fry classes – unlimited riders. It does not include stall, AQHA processing fees, NSBA, any NRHA fees, office charge, camping or shavings. AQHA Class Fees: $16/class/judge AQHA Processing Fee: $6.00 per horse/judge – 4 shows Trail Warm-Up fees: $10.00 per horse/SC show. Office Charge: $10.00 per horse NSBA Classes: $10/class – single judged per S/C show – two sets of points. NSBA Futurity Classes – Green – $50.00 entry fee (ALL WP monies to count) & Novice Amateur – $25.00 entry fee. CONCURRENT with the regular AQHA Classes. ALL Breed. Must have three entries for monies to be paid. NSBA Certificate of eligibility required.Walk/Jog Classes: $10/judge/class
Rookie Classes: It is YOUR responsibility to know your rookie eligibility. Concurrent with L1 classes.
VRH: One round only – double judged Credit Cards: available for entries or stalls. A 4% convenience fee will be applied.
NRHA : NOT in the flat rate. Single Judged. Those classes concurrent will pay only ONE NRHA judge fee. PAID reining warm-ups Thursday afternoon. $25/5 minutes. Sign up at the show.
High Point Awards: Open, L1 Amateur, Amateur, Select, L1 Youth, Youth, EWD Independent & Supported, Small Fry, L1 Amateur WJ & L1 Youth WJ. All but Walk/Jog divisions require halter to qualify.
AVRH High Point Awards: Open, Amateur, Youth – Must show the following: At least ONE AQHA Reining OR Ranch Riding per division. VRH Conformation per division. TWO other VRH Classes – Trail, Reining or Ranch. These are the minimum classes to qualify for the various high point awards. All classes within these divisions will count though.
Sliding Contest
All entries are judged on the length of their continuous slide track (both hind feet). All Open, Youth and Amateurs are competing against each other and are handicapped as follows: Youth- handicap 5 feet Amateur- handicap 4 feet Neck rope- handicap an additional 5 feet Rookie Non-Pro (as defined by NRHA Rookie II)- handicap 5 feet Example: So a youth with a neck rope would gain 10 feet to their slide total. An Open rider with a neck rope would gain 5 feet.
